FREE version of Limber for Character Rigging in After Effects

After Effects tool developer Animatable has released a free version of their super popular Limber add-on called Limber Lite.

This is great for motion designers/animators that can’t justify dropping cash on a script or extensions they won’t use very frequently or just want to try out. If you’re an After Effects generalist like me, then you know the tension of wanting to use a tool that will simplify your workflow, but you know that once you use the tool, it will sit idle in tool kit for a long time after the project is delivered. The added benefit of a Lite version vs a timed trial is that I can keep returning to test projects in my spare time without worrying about losing access to the extension I’m testing.

One of the great features that I personally love about Limber is the ability to emulate rubber hose type limbs. As a creator nostalgic constantly chasing a vintage or retro aesthetic, working with rubber hose character designs and animation is a really exciting prospect for me.

The full version of Limber is just $39 on aecripts + aeplugins.
